Who we are
ChapterPass is a web-based audiobook mastering tool. The data controller is identified in the Legal Notice above. For privacy inquiries, use our contact page.

What we do not collect
Your audio files never leave your browser. All processing runs locally. We do not create user accounts, store passwords, build tracking profiles, or use analytics or marketing cookies. We do not engage in behavioural tracking of any kind.

Cookies
ChapterPass does not set analytics or marketing cookies. Stripe may set cookies that are strictly necessary for payment processing and fraud detection. Cloudflare may set a security cookie (__cf_bm) for bot management. These are functional cookies that do not require consent under the ePrivacy Directive.
Your rights
Under GDPR, you have the right to:

International transfers
Personal data may be transferred to the United States through our processors (Stripe and Cloudflare). Both participate in the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which provides an adequate level of data protection as recognised by the European Commission.

3. Terms of Service
The service
ChapterPass analyses and masters audiobook chapter files to meet ACX and Audible technical specifications. All audio processing runs entirely in your browser. Your files are never uploaded to our servers. The quality of the output depends on the quality of your input files.
Pricing and payment
Your first file is free, no payment required. Additional files are priced at €0.01 per second of audio. All prices include applicable taxes. You will see the exact total before confirming payment. Payments are processed securely by Stripe.
Right of withdrawal
Under EU consumer protection law, you have a 14-day right of withdrawal for online purchases. Because ChapterPass processes your files immediately upon request, you may waive this right by giving explicit consent before processing begins. If you consent to immediate processing, you acknowledge that you lose your right of withdrawal once processing starts.

Liability
ChapterPass is a technical tool. We do not guarantee acceptance by ACX, Audible, or any other platform. We process files according to published technical specifications, but platform requirements may change without notice. Our maximum liability is limited to the amount you paid for the specific processing session in question. We are not liable for issues caused by the quality of your input files.
Intellectual property
Your audio files remain your property at all times. We never access, store, or retain your audio content. The ChapterPass software, brand, and website content are our intellectual property.
Service availability
We aim for high availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted service. We may update or modify the service at any time. Significant changes will be communicated on this website.
Governing law
These terms are governed by Italian law. If you are an EU consumer, you retain the protections of your home country's mandatory consumer protection rules, regardless of the governing law chosen.

We may update these terms from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top of this page reflects the most recent revision. Continued use of ChapterPass after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
